Millennials can attest to the fact that the good ol' idiot box has played a vital role in developing and exposing us to the world. Well, the times have changed now, and Samsung thinks it's time the TVs around us change too.

The company has made a vertical TV in an effort to woo social media-addicted millennials. That's right. It's a real thing and it's called the Sero.

Sero is Samsung's new 43-inch vertical TV that ships with Bixby assistant built-in. According to Samsung, it made this vertical TV to appeal to younger buyers who want to watch vertical videos. Don't worry though. Sero is not just a vertical TV. It's possible to flip the screen and watch horizontal content too.

The TV comes with a built-in screen mirroring functionality, so you can also beam videos from, say, your phone or tablet to the TV. There's also a 60-watt speaker for music streaming.

Sero, in case you're wondering, will be available in South Korea by the end of May, and it will carry a price tag of about $1,600. Should you buy it? Well, if you're into TikTok, Instagram, Snapchat and other vertical videos on YouTube, then by all means yes. There's no info about its availability outside Korea, but it'll be interesting to see how it's received in other markets.
