Prime Minister Narendra Modi once again secured the nation's throne with a thumping victory, as BJP single-handedly won more than 300 seats in the Lok Sabha Elections 2019. World leaders like US President Donald Trump conveyed his wishes over the phone and tweeted, “India is lucky to have him”.
While some people are ecstatic about Modi's victory and are celebrating it the right way, some of his supporters are demanding that tech companies to immediately make the 'Lotus' emoji. Wow!

Yes, BJP supporters have decided to raise their voice on social media and are asking big names like Google, Apple, WhatsApp, and even Twitter to release a 'Lotus' emoji, which they can use to celebrate the party's historic victory and show their support.
Dear @Apple & @WhatsApp We Indians want to see “lotus” symbol in emojis please - as soon as possible - its symbol of purity and today @BJP4India with its lotus symbol has purified #India from dynastic rule of @INCIndia (Like & RT to support please ðð») #ModiPhirSe

This isn't the only tweet asking for a Lotus emoji, There are a ton of other users who are going crazy across different platforms demanding a 'Lotus' emoji.
While we agree that there's no 'Lotus' emoji on Android or iOS at the moment, and we understand the enthusiasm, it's worth pointing out that it's not that easy to make and release an emoji. There's a huge procedure that needs to be followed for getting an emoji released for public use. It has to go through the Unicode Consortium, which approves reviews and approves only about 50-100 new emojis every year.
Well, let's just wait and see if these companies can make it happen and how.
