People Called Cops On 2 Actors Dressed As Terrorists, Turns Out Mumbai Police Never Arrested Them

Here's something actually funny, although Mumbai police is not amused at all. Recently, while Hrithik and Tiger were on the sets a movie they're shooting for (the name isn't disclosed yet), Mumbai Police supposedly arrested two men who were suspected to be terrorists, from the set.

Well, the two men were shooting along with Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shorff and had stepped out to the cigarette shop in their shoot attire. When the locals saw them dressed like how they were, they panicked and called the cops. The men were casually strolling around, casually dressed like bombers, wearing bullet vests, when Mumbai Police was called for aid.

For a lot of people this story may come off as actually hilarious, but for the police it wasn't really funny because it wasn't true. The Mumbai police took to their official Twitter account and actually denied coming and arresting the two men from the film set.

In their Tweet, Mumbai Police wrote:

Mumbai Police has not picked up any such persons. Kindly verify facts. https://t.co/vGOi2X3dYi

But honestly, if this did happen:

After an hour-long search operation, #Mumbai police arrested 2 men suspected to be terrorists, but later turned out to be extras on the sets of Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff's upcoming action film. #TV9News pic.twitter.com/o74uib9PQQ

It would have literally been  the funniest peice of entertainment news right about now.

But alas, the Mumbai Police did confirm no one was arrested, so we wonder what really happened then? Maybe they did come there when the locals called them in panic and after a thorough investigation, realised they were indeed not terrorists but the supporting cast of the film.

Well, this only goes to tell us one thing. Don't believe everything you read on social media, even though it's the funniest thing you've read in the longest time!
