Karan Johar is quite the collector when it comes to off-beat outfits. Case in point, a recent event wherein he carried a bizarre look that intrigued us all. He was seen in a black and golden pantsuit by Issey Miyake along with a pair of Rick Owens boots and Yohji Yamamoto shades to complete the look. Take a look:

However, the fascinating aspect of his outfit lied in his boots. The Rick Owens silhouette is from FW'19 and is called the Larry Elastic Kiss Boots. They come for the price of $1413 which comes down to Rs 1,00,450. Here's what the silhouette looks like at a closer look:

This look especially stands out because the boots, as they appear, are a minimum of six inches long which also happens to be more than average of what women wear to events. Usually, regular shoes can give you an additional inch or two but this pair of Rick Owens is clearly an exception to the rule. So for example in this picture, if you look at Ananya Pandey with Karan Johar, you'll notice that Karan Johar's kiss boots are in fact taller than Ananya's heels. Take a look here:

This is not the first time Karan Johar has been spotted in a bizarre-looking outfit. In fact, in the past, he was spotted with a bag that changed colours like a chameleon. He was also seen wearing a sweatshirt with a to-do list on it. For Karan Johar, it seems like it isn't very hard to cherry-pick the best silhouettes for his flashy looks.
