Jimmy Donaldson or 'Mr. Beast' who is known for his charitable work and is a popular YouTuber, has launched the #TeamTrees project which aims to plant 20 million trees across the globe by the year 2022.

We know that climate change is real and while some of us are only ranting about it, Jimmy is trying to combat it by planting 20 million trees.

Famous for his philanthropic videos on YouTube, this all started when his fans started spamming Jimmy with posts and comments urging him to plant 20 million trees when his channel reached the 20 million subscribers on YouTube.

Several months and 5 million more subscribers later, Mr. Beast has now taken it up as his "biggest project ever", to plant 20 million trees with #TeamTree fundraiser now underway. With every dollar donated, a tree will be planted, assures Mr. Beast in the video. Watch the video here-

Mark has been planting trees by using drones too. He said in his project kickoff video, “Unfortunately, despite having a large number of people, we came nowhere near to planting 20 million trees but I don't wanna let you guys down so I devised a plan where we can plant 20 million trees. But I need your help.”

To achieve his goal of planting 20 million trees, Mr Beast has joined hands with the Arbor Day Foundation, which is one of the largest non-profit conservation organizations in the world that helps in planting and nurturing trees.

The trees planting activity will start from January 1, 2020 and ends on December 31, 2022.
