The former Indian wicket keeper, Farokh Engineer, doesn't believe in mincing words, while claiming his disappointment for the Team India selectors and the 'major impact' Virat Kohli has on the team. He has gone on to label the committee a 'Mickey Mouse' committee and of course, questioned their credentials on holding an important job.

While expressing his disgruntled state of being over the selection committee he also remembered a time from the 2019 World Cup where the sight of an Indian selector serving tea to Kohli's wife, Anushka Sharma in the VIP box left him feeling absolutely disgusted. He also went on to say that only experienced crickets should be in the selection committee rather than the current panel of selectors, who're inexperienced to say the least.
After the said claim was made, Anushka Sharma, through her Instagram account broke her silence on the numerous accounts she was aggressively blamed for Virat's performance and the tea incident Engineer spoke about in his claim. This is what she had to say:
Maybe it's a little too late but Anushka breaking her silence on how she's always in the centre of attention whenever Virat doesn't perform his best is something that was urgently needed and we're glad she came forward and made her voice heard. Especially on the fact that she drinks coffee and not tea!
