Can you imagine your life without certain things that we use on a daily basis like doorbells, lifts, or even language? We obviously can't right? These things are so normal and it's hard to imagine about a time before them.

Well, a few desi people have come together to reminisce of that time and the results are absolutely hilarious. Yep, I'm sure everyone has seen the memes floating around on Twitter - which probably ended up on Instagram since it's all just Twitter screenshots now - and I can't get over how creative people have got with their jokes.

It's one of the best desi memes of the year, hands down, and I love that it trended so much and we got so many hilarious reactions.
