In an epic political drama, on a Friday night it was decided that Shiv Sena's Uddhav Thackeray will assume his responsibilities as the next CM. However, that news was shortlived as on Saturday, people woke up to the news that BJP's Devender Fadnavis has been confirmed as the next CM for the second time in a row and Ajit Pawar will be the state's Deputy Chief Minister.

The President's rule that was imposed on the state since November 12 was also lifted by President Ram Nath Kovind before Fadnavis took oath. Reportedly, Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari administered the oath to Fadnavis and Pawat at Raj Bhawan.

This overnight development created quite a stir not just in the world of politics, but also on social media where people went berserk giving their 'esteemed' opinion on whatever happened. Not that anyone asked for it, but their hilarious opinion and take on this entire issue is definitely hard to miss.
