5 Comedy Series That Are A Perfect Watch For A Lazy Winter Sunday Evening In Bed

It is a cold Sunday and while moving around might be a task, browsing channels and lurking around our streaming services looking for what to watch sometimes gets too boring. So if you're looking for some good laughs as you bring on a cup of coffee or drink beer with pizza in bed, here are five classic recommendations which will make you laugh and serve as the perfect Sunday companion for you.

1. The Office

I trust you to have watched it already or maybe at least heard so much about it that you have often tried to spare time to start this fantastic series. If you work in a corporate set up, then this will double up as a balm for everyday workplace bruises that touch our hearts and brain. Brilliant script, insane laughter and spot-on characterisations, this is a must watch for everyone looking to laugh!

2. Scrubs

The medical drama which made us laugh with its dismantled characters is a safe Sunday watch/re-watch with pizza and beer in bed.

3. 2 Broke Girls

This comedy series follows the life of two friends, one raised as a billionaire's daughter, another raised in poverty, working together at a diner, trying to raise money to start their own cupcake business. This is not just comedy for a mindless watch but throws light on different perspectives of life which makes you wonder how life is a joke sometimes.

4. Fleabag

Strictly for people with a penchant for taking everything with a pinch of salt.

Insanely well written and scripted and enacted out by Phoebe Waller Bridge herself, this show will make you laugh at how raw and real the characters are. Prepare to embrace some dark humour served with twisted reality.

5. Two And A Half Men

With over 262 episodes, it is safe to say this show will help you pass time on your couch for the entire Sunday evening. The show follows the lives of a hedonistic individual Charlie Harper living with a slightly more responsible brother Alan and his 10-year-old nephew in the same house. Guaranteed to make you laugh.
