Have you ever stood up for what is wrong and right? Well, it's a democracy and practicing it really helps us progress. Just recently a gentleman did the same and earned a lot of respect through it, just because he stood up for something he believed was wrong.
A video is doing the rounds on the internet of a SpiceJet passenger, arguing with Bhartiya Janta Party MP Pragya Thakur, who held up a Bhopal-bound flight for about 45 minutes because she wanted to change her seat. When the man pointed out that what she was doing was wrong and had a fulfledged argument about it with her, the entire flight as well as the internet deemed him a hero for vocalising what was fundamentally wrong.

A few days ago, while taking a SpiceJet flight SG2489 from Delhi to Bhopal, the MP stalled the flight for a good 45-minutes, after she was asked by the crew to move to a non-emergency row seat, as she was on an emergency seat. The MP was on a wheelchair and when the airhostess came to request her to move her seat, she refused.
A lot of restless passengers requested her to change her seat while most others asked the crew to offload her since she was being stubborn. One of the male passengers, who's also in the video, even told her she's a people's representative and her job is not to 'trouble them'. After a bit of an argument, the MP is heard saying in Hindi: "I said it at the beginning itself that show me your rulebook. If I don't feel comfortable, I will go.”
To which the man replies "You are people's representative. Your job is not to trouble us. You should come by the next flight."
“You should have the moral compass that even if one person is getting troubled because of you, you should own up because you are the leader. You are not ashamed that you have held 50 people at ransom," the man arguing with her, adds.

— santhoshd (@santhoshd) December 22, 2019The MP also went ahead and filed a complaint with the Bhopal Airport director, stating that she was not allotted the seat she had booked on the flight and that the airline crew didn't treat her well.
To which the airline said:
"SpiceJet had the privilege to have Pragya Thakur on board on December 21. She had pre-booked seat 1A and had come to the airport in her own wheelchair. The Delhi-Bhopal flight is operated by Bombardier Q400 aircraft (78 seats). On this aircraft, the first row is the emergency row seat and is not allocated to passengers on wheelchairs,"
Meanwhile people on Twitter all over were overjoyed with the man taking a stand against the BJP MP.
Hats off the gentleman speaking up...Made my day...

— Ajay Kamath (@ajay43) December 22, 2019We have seen this happen too many times. A VIP can board the flight 5 mins before departure. However because of this rule by the gov a flight can be held well beyond the departure time!!! We need to make the rule same as am admi

Hero !
Shame on Pragya Thakur. Great job by this common man to teach someone drunk with arrogance and power a lesson publicly. https://t.co/XdcJYb3qM9
— Aditya Raj Kaul (@AdityaRajKaul) December 23, 2019Well, this is a great lesson in speaking up when you know someone is in the wrong, no matter who they really are!
