Well, after only being concerned about Amit Shah's health when asked about the current situation in the country at the moment, Akshay Kumar finally has a little more input to offer and well, I don't know how to feel about it.
Speaking about the protests that are going on in the entire country at the moment against the Citizenship Amendment Act, Akshay Kumar gave a very neutral and kind of a vague statement.
He said, "I don't like violence. Whether any side left side or right side, just don't do violence. Don't destroy property, don't do that, be away from violence. Whatever you want to say to each other do it with positivity, talk to each other, stop violence. Just do not destroy anybody's property, nobody should do that."

While I agree, violence is never the answer and that's why people have been trying to peacefully protest against the Act, which is literally their right, I really do not understand everyone's fixation with that one bus that was burnt.
Yes, public property should not be destroyed, obviously, but what about all the people who've lost their lives? I'm pretty sure that's worth more than a bus, but why does everyone want to focus on public property when people, kids, who were not even protesting were harrassed.
Moreover, people are also calling him a hypocrite because on one hand, he's preaching that everything should remain nonviolent, but on the other hand he 'accidentally' liked a tweet cheering for the violence against students of Jamia University inside their campus.

Yes, he apparently liked it by mistake, but a lot of people were left wondering how he even a tweet like that would end up on his timeline when he follows only 26 people. Hmm, guess we'll never know the true story behind that.
How to call out two people at once.
Akshay Kumar urges everyone to refrain from violence during CAA protest.
Ironically Akshay was caught liking a tweet cheering Police Brutality on Jamia Students few days ago.
Hypocrisy Level- Modiji
Another incident of hypocrisy people pointed out.
A Canadian national named 'Akshay Kumar' can comment on anything without fear of deportation.
But a 24 year old German Student cannot support Indian citizens and protest with them for something that resembles the greatest tragedy in German history.#DankeSchonJakob
Oops.
Hello @JustinTrudeau can you please advise your citizen @akshaykumar to avoid poking nose in India's internal matters & refrain from giving free advise to Indian protestors who are already victims of state terror? @Canada #NRC_CAA_Protest https://t.co/R31nevXG4R
