KL Rahul's Pokemon Inspired Belt Bag Would Put Even His Sneakers Worth Rs 80K To Shame

KL Rahul is not a stranger when it comes to flexing his muscles when it comes to style. And when we talk especially about street style, he has an entirely different ball game. We can go as far as to say that among the current cricketing pantheon, he made some of the best style statements throughout 2019.

From intentionally destroying a pair of sneakers worth Rs 50,000 to wearing a pair of sneakers that were legit inspired by Rubik's cube, the man has done really well when it comes to street style and athleisure.

All that being said, it seems that he is intent on amping up his style quotient by heaps.KL Rahul started the year with a major bang in one of the zaniest pairing of sneakers and a fanny pack.

First, let's get to his sneakers.

The pair that KL Rahul is wearing is an exquisite piece, that's also quite zany. They are from the house of Dior and are called the B23 High-top Sneakers In Dior Oblique. They have a welded construction, which means they are tough and in spite of being a high fashion piece, they will last for you a lifetime.

As for the silhouette and the design of the sneakers, they are a thing to behold. The mix of calf-skin leather, cotton and canvas make it ideal for everyday usage, and also a party piece for any streetwear, or casual ensemble that you would be throwing together. The translucent rubber or plastic over parts of the sneaker does add a certain charm to the sneakers. The obliqued Dior logo all over the sneakers is a nifty touch that makes it even more appealing.

The sneakers are listed on Dior's website for a whopping $1,100 or Rs 78,500. Mind you, that's before all the hefty import duties and taxes that you would be added on top of that 80K.

Although the shoes are pricey, they don't hold a candle to the exquisiteness that KL Rahul's fanny pack exude. Now, we have seen a number of fanny packs and belt bags that are zany, and have the ability to turn heads. But this 'Pokemon' inspired belt bag is something else.

KL Rahul is carrying a piece from the Italian luxury fashion house, Fendi, called the Black Romano Leather Belt Bag. The plush leather bag comes with zippers and appliques in a golden finish, which give it a really classy appeal.

That appeal, however, is offset by the zany looking, bugs eyes bag that Fendi is known for. The 'eyes' again, are a golden applique. The eyes do look like an evil pokemon, don't they, almost like Gengar's eyes?

Any which way, they do look cool. And the price for this zany piece? Well, on Fendi, they are listed for $1,490, or just over Rs 1,10,000. Add to that your usual tariffs and duties, and you are looking at a figure well north of Rs 1,50,000.

All that being said, KL Rahul does look dapper. The maroon cap and that understated outfit? A nice way to dress for the airport, actually.
