Thereâs being a bonafide style icon, and then there are visionaries that really shake up the way we look at style and fashion. And in a category and league of his own, there is Aparshakti Khurana, dropping some hardcore style statements one after the other.

Not only did the man wear his co-actressâs sunglasses just to make a statement, he also found a zany new way of adding bling and accessories to an otherwise simple and dope outfit - by using security and price tags. Mind you, all of this was on a regular day of the week.

And then, there are moments such as this recent one where he was spotted wearing one of the zaniest and hands down, the most insane pieces that we have ever seen.

Aparshakti Khurana was spotted at the screening of Saif Ali Khanâs Jawaani Jaaneman in a sweater that was so tattered, that it could easily be mistaken for an ages-old mop. That, coupled with a pair of extremely dirty sneakers that he is wearing, does go a long way for that edgy, goth-meets-punk aesthetic that heâs going for.

The price, you ask? Well, it retails for over $625, or just shy of Rs 45,000. Do keep in mind that you have to shell out a couple of thousands more in duties and taxes. 

Aparshakti is wearing a heavily distressed sweater in black, from Alexander McQueen. The sweater does look zany and has a very raw edge to it. When it comes to the overall ensemble, it does sit well with the rest of his ensemble, especially considering the light blue jumpers that help in bringing out the contrast of the sweater.

We also like the retro-looking pair of club master sunglasses that heâs wearing. As a choice of an accessory, we honestly canât that think of something that uplifts the ensemble with the subtlety that the sunglasses do.

Coming to his super dirty sneakers, Aparshakti is wearing the Leather Ball Star Sneakers from Golden Goose. The Venetian high fashion brand is actually a favourite among our B-towners and often sell out like hotcakes as soon as they hit the shelves. They are also known for their dirty and soiled sneakers, which is a rather kitschy take on contemporary sneaker designs.

The sneakers that Aparshaktiâs wearing has a very â90s aesthetic. The vintage appeal of the sneakers is further accentuated by the manner in which the black star and the silver metallic appliques sit on the white leather.
