Budget phones are not really good when it comes to gaming. We've reviewed a ton of budget phones and that's just the way it has been due to various cost-cutting measures. But Realme recently came up with a new phone called the Realme C3 and said it's "the most powerful entry-level smartphone".

I was obviously a little skeptical about it. But as someone who's been playing a lot of games on phones lately, this caught my attention. So I decided to check it out. Honestly, I was quite surprised by the Realme C3's performance, especially gaming.

Even after doing that, I was constantly getting 40fps, which is quite amazing for a budget phone. Most phones in this price range can't even handle "High" settings. So, I'd say it's pretty darn good here in the Realme C3's case. Obviously, it's unfair to expect anything more than 40fps out of Realme C3, but let me tell you that the gameplay is buttery smooth.

The gameplay is smooth across the board with multiple games that I tried. Even other resource-intensive titles like Call Of Duty Mobile and Shadow Fight 3  have been a joy to play on this phone. When it comes to Call Of Duty Mobile, I was averaging at about 55fps and the same is the case with Shadow Fight 3 as well. Those are some really good numbers for a phone that costs as much as the Realme C3 does.
