The thing about some of the millennial actors today is the relatibility factor for their fans which makes them love their work and appreciate what they do. Actors like Ayushmann Khurrana, Kartik Aaryan, and Taapsee Pannu enjoy a big fan following because somewhere they are a reflection of what and how this generation feels. Kartik Aaryan, who is most loved for his outings in the Luv Ranjan movies heâs done in the past and the relationship monologue heâs delivered is currently enjoying a wonderful place in terms of the projects heâs taking up and the list of fans heâs making.
View this post on Instagramð·ð¶A post shared by (@kartikaaryan)Often times than not, heâs compared to his contemporary Ayushmann Khurrana who is a wonderful actor and a talent house in himself. So as Kartik has been touring the country for the publicity of his upcoming movie Love Aaj Kal, it was only natural for the media to ask him what he feels about this healthy competition and the similarity (if any) they both share. Kartik explained that their choices of movies are slightly different from each other. âIt often happens that Ayushmann does films about men with defects while I do films about women with defects.â While people were curious as to what was he implying, his co-star Sara Ali Khan asked him what was wrong with the character of Zoe in the movie and he just sang the song âHaan Main Galatâ in response. People on social media are kind of furious with this comment and want Kartik to take a lesson in what is actually âdefectiveâ.
All this time @ayushmannk did such movies to remove the stereotypes. #KartikAaryan in one go calls those characters "men with defects". But that wasn't enough, misogynist that he is, says his movies are about "women with defects". National crush, this guy, women, wake up! https://t.co/uboxKeiq54
â Vipra Dubey (@VipraDubey) February 8, 2020I dont mean to b rude but what did Ariyan do to get this much attention?! A series of misogynistic films. Bas... Media does too much.
â Saeed Neerob (@SaeedNeerob) June 23, 2018While we love Kartikâs work as well, calling Ayushmannâs movies as being a representation of âdefects in menâ is in bad taste and above all if he thinks that heâs a balm for the men as he has previously projected their plight in movies like Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety and Pyaar Ka Punchnaama, then he needs a reality check that such statements just look poor on a good looking actor. In another news, the actor has now signed a big budget 3D action film with T-series. Hereâs hoping he continues entertaining us with more good work and better interviews.
