Arguably one of the most popular sports in the world, cricket has continued to enthral fans and produce new sporting heroes over the years. As a kid, many of us have grown up imitating the batting stances and bowling actions of our favourite cricketers in our backyard.

From Brian Lara's unique stance to Wasim Akram's bowling stride, youngsters have proudly copied the tools of the trade of the cricketing icons. A similar case recently came to the fore where a youngster in Auckland was seen impersonating the bowling action of none other than Indian seamer Jasprit Bumrah.

One of the best death-over bowlers in international cricket at the moment, Bumrah's anomalous, sling-arm action backed with natural pace and peculiar release point has not only got the opposition batsmen scratching their heads, but it remains one of the most unique bowling actions the sport has ever seen. Thus, it takes quite a doing if one was to imitate Bumrah's bowling action. But, for a young kid, it was a walk in the park.

How good is this kids impersonation of @Jaspritbumrah93 in Auckland. @BCCI @BLACKCAPS #woweee pic.twitter.com/0XDtSEqWaW

Former New Zealand coach Mike Hesson retweeted the video where the youngster was seen replicating Bumrah's bowling action down to the core. The video was initially shared by Ollie Pringle, a cricket coach in New Zealand, on Twitter. "How good is this kidâs impersonation of @Jaspritbumrah93 in Auckland. @BCCI @BLACKCAPS #woweee," he wrote alongside the video.

The video appears to have struck a chord with cricket fans who were in awe of the young boy's bowling skills.
