Yes, you read it right. There's a well-groomed dog who has earned the nickname Chewbacca, thanks to his lustrous beard that can put even the most well-groomed men with thick beard to shame. His name is Nuts and it makes absolute sense for him to keep that because he is making all the 'hoomans' go nuts with his thick shiny beard.

Nuts is a Belgian Griffon from Moscow and according to his owner Tatiana Kovalenok, he doesn't need any 'special treatment' to get this quality full-grown beard. She just washes it whenever Nuts takes a shower.

In 2018, when Nuts was 2-years-old, Tatiana told The Dodo, "Almost every day when we walk, we get reactions from random people regarding his appearance and his beard. Kids usually say that heâs a âfunny dogâ or âlooks like a grandpaâ. Older people always mention him as a stylish dog, saying something like: âLook at the beard he has.â Some people call him hipster or even Chewbacca."

Nuts even has an Instagram account where he's already a celebrity in his own right. Nuts became famous for his beard after one day, Tatiana decided to leave his beard like that instead of getting it groomed or trimmed, and post a picture of his full-grown beard on Instagram.

While Nuts look like a grumpy dog who will bite you the moment you go close to him, in reality he's actually a kind and clingy dog who doesn't even bite. "He is kind, as a matter of fact, he doesnât even bite. He is an overly attached dog, thatâs his main trait. He always has to be near me. If I watch a movie he just has to jump on my lap, he follows me everywhere," she said.
