Varun Dhawan's 'Invisible Man' Outfit Makes Him Barely Recognisable & We Think It's Bizarrely Cool

When it comes to Varun Dhawan's personal style, he likes to keep it low-key with silhouettes like denim and leather jackets, graphic t-shirts, and ripped jeans. However, sometimes, he likes to dip his toes in outlandish trends. The 32-year-old actor was recently seen in the much-awaited film Street Dancer, and will next be seen in films like Coolie No.1 and Mr. Lele and hence, this year he's trying out new styles. Case in point:

Recently, he was spotted at the airport in an outfit that suggested that Varun has stepped out of his comfort zone and in a good way. This look consisted of a coordinated floral patterned shirt and pants. However, what's intriguing is the fact that with his mask on, he looked barely recognisable and, in-fact, looked like Ranveer Singh's style twin. This is also because his look's aesthetic closely resembles Ranveer's everyday fashion aesthetic.

But we're also glad that Varun Dhawan is taking his safety seriously with Coronavirus on the loose, considering he's wearing a mask at the airport, which surprisingly goes really well with the look.

In fact, the pair of shades that he was wearing with the outfit also added an edge to the look.

But, despite all of that, this outfit is taking us back to H.G Wells Invisible Man. The protagonist had to cover-up everything in order to be visible. With a mask and shades, it looks like VD may have assumed the character. And for that very reason, he wasn't shying away to show-off the new trend that he's clearly started, clubbing protective gear like an accessory with a regular outfit.

However, this is no way suggests that we do not like Varun's boy-next-door style, for example, the time he sported a stellar denim-on-denim look or the time when he wore protective knee gear as an accessory.

He's clearly a style inspiration and there's plenty that we can learn from him.
