Jitendra Kumars Brilliant Performance In His New Show Panchayat Reminds Us Of SRK In Swades

Actor Jitendra Kumarâs debut in Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan  was very well received by the audience as well as the critics. The actor is now being seen on his new show Panchayat  and those who have watched the show over the weekend would agree that Jitendra Kumar's Panchayat is one of the most relatable shows and has its roots in rural India. I binge-watched it last night and was instantly reminded of Shah Rukh Khan in Swades but this one is a little quirky.

the story follows Jitendra Kumarâs character who lands in a village to take up a government job which he was interested in, and his reasons to be in the spot were far from being patriotic. Well, I wonât give any sort of spoilers here but the director Deepak Kumar Mishra deserves a huge applause for creating a masterpiece thatâs simple yet effective. Jitendra is the next rising star and his performance in the show is top-notch. He leaves no scope for a viewer to be left disappointed with his act. Well, we can say we have the next big star.

You will also fall in love with Raghuvir Yadav, Neena Gupta and Chandan Roy for putting up their brilliant acts. The show has been trending and people love the show for its concept and brilliant performances. Well, a few of them have already started to ask for the second season of the show.

Here are the reactions:

In an interview with PTI, Jitendra explained why he chose to be a part of this, âThe simplicity I felt while hearing the script of Panchayat was so good. I came back home with such a happy feeling, I wanted to work on the show immediately. The shows which wired on Doordarshan in the 90s, the simplicity which they had, this one has too.â   âOn OTT, weâve mostly seen characters who struggle when the person moves to a big city from a small town. Iâve done several of these shows as well. But a show where an urban guy moves to a village and deals with the issues there, I think a show like this has come after a long time. So thereâs a novelty,â he added.

We loved the show and we also recommend you to watch it.
