Owing to the Coronavirus lockdown, Doordarshan decided to give us a nostalgia trip with shows like Ramayan and Mahabharat. Millennials welcomed the shows in a typical digital style by heaping praises on Twitter and appreciated the actors for giving such brilliant performances. From Arun Govil as Lord Ram to Arvind Trivedi as Ravan, people are impressed with these actors as they made Ramayan look as real as it could be.  

Today, Ravan has been trending on Twitter and when I checked the trend, I found out that Arvind Trivedi, who played the role of Ravan in Ramayan has finally made his debut on Twitter. Yes, on April 18, the actor joined the microblogging site. In the morning, fans started trending #RavanOnTwitter.

A few days ago, a video of the veteran actor watching the Sita Haran scene on his television set went viral on social media. He folded his hands at one point as if he is apologizing for abducting Sita in front of the others in his room.

Ramayan was one of the first shows that were brought back, followed by Mahabharat, Byomkesh Bakshi and several others.
