An account of his kindness was recently shared by actor-director Bobby Parvez on his Facebook wall, where paying heartfelt tribute to Irrfan Parvez recalls how almost two decade ago Irrfan would take hundreds of calls and messages on behalf of struggling actors who did not have personal phones to receive call backs from directors or casting studios.

Parvez shares how 20 years ago, at a time when mobile phones were a rare luxury for people, hundreds of struggling actors would often leave behind their photographs with one particular number and a reference name of âIrrfanâ or âSutapaâ, his wife.

Irrfan would not only receive those endless calls on behalf of the aspiring actors every single day, but also made meticulous notes regarding their meetings and office appointments.
