Bank CEO Repays Rs 30 Lakhs In Shares To His Old Teacher Who Lent Him Rs 500 Years Ago

There is so much hate and negativity in the world that any kind of positivity and support is truly unforgettable.Β

On the ladder to success, one should never ever forget the people who were there to support them or help them in any way to make their dreams come true.

And that's what makes the story of a bank CEO and his former teacher all the more wholesome.

IDFC First bank MD and CEO, V Vaidyanathan, decided to honour his former maths teacher in a special way and thank him for his help years ago.Β

He decided to gift his teacher, Gurdial Saini, 1 lakh equity shares worth Rs 30 lakhs because once upon a time the teacher gave him β‚Ή500 to travel to a college interview.

Reportedly, he did not have the money to travel to appear for an interview at the Birla Institute of Technology (Mesra). Well, thanks to the teacher who believed in him, he was not only able to study at the prestigious institute but also do extremely well for himself in his career.

It took him years to trach down Gurdial Saini as he had moved jobs but when he finally found out he was in Agra, he called him up and showed gratitude for his support years ago.

And, then that was followed by the highly generous gift. What a pure, heart-warming story.Β

The beautiful story was shared by an acquaintance of Mr.Vaidyanathan on Facebook.

It was appreciated by one and all.

Wholesome stuff.
