10-Minute Pre-Party Workouts To Get That Muscle Pump Without Heading To The Gym

You’ve got big plans tonight? Meeting your gang after a long time? Want to look your best or should we say ripped in all future selfies? Alright, then. The secret for all those no-filter-needed, super-confident-about-my-looks 'swelfies' clicked in a gym’s changing room is a heavy lifting session.

After a good weights session, blood flow is maximised to your muscles. This allows your muscles to look super pumped and you to look your best for an hour or so. You can take advantage of this to achieve a muscle pump right before heading to a party.

Just before you take off your T-shirt and slip into something fancier, hit the deck to do a 10-minute pre-party workout routine of your choice.

Remember, if you do it too early, you’ll lose the pre-party pump before you’ve reached your destination.

Explosive Incline Press Up

Reps: 10

Start with a press-up position with your weight supported on your toes and hands beneath the shoulders. Keep your core locked.

Place your hands on the bed with your toes on the floor. Lower your chest and then explosively press back up fully extending your arms.

Bicep Isolation

Hold: 15 secs

Hook a towel under your thighs and hold both ends in your hands. Get into a half-squat position and curl your hands up towards your shoulders. Pull the towel as hard as you can to increase the tension in your biceps.

Disclaimer: We would like to clarify that workout for a pre-party pump is a quick solution with short term benefits. This method is not effective for long-term health goals and satisfaction. If you want to look bigger in long term, you must commit to a muscle-building training plan. Only constant training and a healthy diet can help your muscles grow.

 Final Thoughts

For a pre-party pump, quick workouts are preferred to a full weights session. This prevents the exhaustion of glycogen stored in your muscles.

So, try the abovementioned pre-party workout of your choice and don’t forget to take that 'swole' selfie.
