It’s that time of the year again fellas when most of us eagerly wait for - what? Yes, Diwali bonus! 

Diwali - the festival of lights - is a time for celebration, card parties, good food, sweets... and of course a bonus. 

Since it is believed that Goddess Lakshmi visits homes on this auspicious day - we kinda expect that quite literally, don’t we?

However, this year, things are not the same - thanks to COVID-19! *sob*

The coronavirus global health scare has been unprecedented, and many people, unfortunately, got laid off or didn’t even get their appraisal. 

And not to forget that most of us are still dealing with the severe Delhi smog (as usual) and Diwali ki safai. 

But no matter what, the virtual world never ceases to entertain us. From “Abey, Diwali bonus kab milega?” to being envious of government employees right now, people have flooded social media with hilarious jokes and memes.
