Whether it was the global pandemic, sponsorship headaches, renewed schedule or a whole new venue, the thirteenth edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) braved all odds to give cricket enthusiasts something to cheer for in an otherwise forgettable year. But, despite all the challenges, no one could have possibly anticipated how things would unfold in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

In what, arguably, was one of the best seasons in the tournament's rich history, IPL 2020, as claimed by many, would undeniably be remembered as the most closely contested edition. With no clear-cut winner in sight in the league stage and a tightly-contested points table, the recently-concluded edition did lack certainty when it came to results. But, when you look at Mumbai Indians (MI), it seems a lie.

The win didn't just leave the Mumbai players ecstatic, but also owners Nita Ambani and her son Akash in a celebratory mood. 

Needless to say that social media was abuzz with congratulatory messages, especially from Bollywood celebs, who lauded Rohit-led Mumbai for their latest achievement.
