Here's How To Check If Your iPhone 11 Is Eligible For A Free Screen Replacement

Apple's iPhone 11 is one of those phones that was plagued with some screen issues. A lot of users complained about it online, so Apple has finally decided to launch a free repair program. Under this, the company will allow some users to get free screen replacements for their iPhone 11.

According to Apple, the iPhone 11 manufactured between November 2019 and May 2020 are affected by this particular issue, so only those are the ones that are eligible for this repair program.

In case you have an iPhone 11 and you're wondering how to check for eligibility, then here's how to do it -

One of the first things you need to check is the iPhone 11's serial number. There are multiple ways to do it, but we suggest you go to your iPhone's setting and go to General. Once you're there, enter the 'About' section and look for the serial number.

Alternatively, you can also check out your iPhone 11's packaging, receipt, or the invoice for the serial number.

Once you have the serial number, head to Apple's dedicated support website and enter it in the box to find out the eligibility for a free display replacement. If your iPhone unit is indeed eligible, then head to the nearest Apple Store or an Apple Authorized service center for a free replacement.

It's worth pointing out that the issue is with the display module and not the display panel itself, so you'll only get the module's replacement. If your unit is damaged and if you say have, say, a cracked screen, then replacing it might cost you an additional charge.
