2020 is about to come to an end and even though COVID-19 ruined it for us, it did not stop smartphone companies from launching smartphones all year long. We’ve seen quite a few smartphone launches in India this past year, however only a few of them qualify as “flagships.” We decided to compile a list of all the best flagship phones you should consider buying if you are looking to upgrade your smartphone soon:

The iPhone 12 Pro is a testament to what smartphones can do when it comes to photography. Apple managed to deliver a smartphone that comes with everything you need in a smartphone. It’s got the best display on a smartphone ever, great premium design and a very powerful chipset. The iPhone 12 Pro is also a dream to shoot pictures with, thanks to the triple-camera setup and the LiDAR sensor. The smartphone is also capable of capturing incredible videos that can give action cameras such as the GoPro a run for its money. It is also the fastest and most powerful smartphone in the market right now, thanks to the new A14 Bionic chipset that puts every Android smartphone to shame. OnePlus has been consistently delivering great Android smartphones and this year was no exception. However, this year the company managed to up the ante by bringing features we’ve all wanted for years. For starters, it is the first OnePlus device that supports wireless charging and has an IP rating of 68. The OnePlus 8 Pro is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 865 chipset and runs Oxygen OS11 based on Android 11. It is by far one of the smoothest Android smartphones you will use this year and is incredibly powerful for mobile gaming as well. The Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra is yet another great smartphone to consider if you want a capable Android device that can take great pictures. The Galaxy S20 Ultra comes with a gorgeous WQHD+  AMOLED display that has a refresh rate of 120Hz. With its 108MP primary camera and a periscope sensor that supports up to 100x zoom, your photography needs will be taken care of. Samsung has also introduced some nifty features with the One UI 2.0 update and is our second-favourite Android skin to use. Xiaomi caught everyone's attention this year with their very own flagship device i.e. the Mi 10. In fact, it is a great alternative to the OnePlus 8 Pro thanks to its superior photography capabilities. It is nearly identical to the OnePlus 8 Pro in terms of specs but offers better camera performance than the competition. The Mi 10 is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 865 chipset and has a 1080 x 2340 pixels display with 90Hz refresh rate. It even supports fast wireless charging but lacks an official IP rating to keep the cost of the phone lower than the competition. The iPhone 12 is yet another flagship device to consider if you aren’t willing to pay the premium for the ‘Pro’ models for a few extra features. The iPhone 12 has almost the same specs as its pro brethren and offers everything you need from a phone. Its photography capabilities are still better than almost every Android smartphone on this list. The iPhone 12 is also more powerful and faster than any other device on this list barring the ‘iPhone 12 Pro’ as it is powered by Apple’s latest 5nm A14 Bionic chipset.
