Coronavirus doesn't seem to be going anywhere, anytime soon. And the only thing we can do to keep it at an arm’s length, is to literally do exactly that at the very least. We all know how lightly people have been taking Covid-19 safety measures - right from ditching the masks to partying in large groups and traveling for leisure - people have been ignoring Covid precautions left, right and centre.

While many of us have resorted to ‘live with it’, it seems like actor Tom Cruise isn’t having any of it. An audio clip of Tom Cruise giving an earful to the crew on the set of Mission Impossible 7 has gone viral on social media and the reason behind the verbal bashing lies in the fact that Covid safety protocols were breached on the London set.

In the audio, the Hollywood star can be heard telling people they will be fired if they don’t follow the precautionary measures. Filled with expletives, Tom can be heard yelling at the top of his voice at those who were taking things lightly.

He went so far as to remind them how much people have struggled due to the industry shutdown due to the pandemic, and how flouting the rules is going to jeopardize the future of so many people due to illness and unemployment if the Covid situation worsens once again and the industry is forced to close down for a second time.

Reports state that Mission Impossible 7 was one of the first movies to stop production in February due to the pandemic and resumed it only in September when the situation slightly improved.

No wonder people aren’t complaining about a superstar yelling at his crew this time, because we all agree with what Tom had to say and understand why it was justified for him to lose his cool over it.
