The concept of a 'male alpha' is often misunderstood by society and Bollywood as well, who for the most time, gives wrong examples through its works.
However, now, things are changing and the concept of 'men being dominant in cinema' is slowly and gradually changing.
In an interview with Hindustan Times, Amit Sadh discussed how movies wherein women are not respected are a strict no-no for him.

I’ve no inhibition in taking a step back in a story and let the women take the lead. People misunderstand what the real male alpha is. I always believed women should be worshipped and men should be loved,” he added.
On the professional front, Amit will next be seen in Zidd, which is inspired by a real-life story.
Expressing his excitement about Zidd, Amit said in a statement, “Zidd is a defining moment in my career. The teaser is an early testimony to that, and the real deal is the premiere on January 22, 2021. It is the story of a man’s conviction and determination. It is based on Major Deependra Singh Sengar, the Kargil war hero. It is an ode to his wilful journey. I am glad it is made into a series so that viewers can soak in all highlights and turning points of his journey. I hope the audience will like the teaser and appreciate the soul and hard work that has gone into its making. I am looking forward to what the fans have to say about it.”
