Not like I was born with a silver spoon, but Sushant Singh Rajput just made life worse for me. He just gave the T-Shirt + Jeans combo a brand new meaning! By adding the colour game to it, and adding in the footwear angle—SSR just basically turned the chill-ass combo into an elevated streetwear look. Wasn't the T-shirt + Jeans combo all about just casually throwing things on? For all I know, it was all about a basic T-shirt, plain-washed jeans and whatever the hell I wanted to wear on my feet. Replacing my favourite regular-fit bottoms with a pair of white slim-fit jeans, a basic casual T-Shirt with a graphic T-Shirt and most importantly, my football-cum-every-day trainers with ankle-length shoes (with a zipper detailing)? Agreed, it all looks quite cool but this is just another pain for me to bear every morning. Even on days when my basic jeans or T-shirts could come in handy.
