32-year-old Jonathan Bailey brought this complex character to life with his charisma in Netflix’s first Shondaland original, Bridgerton that is based on Julia Quinn's famous novels that go by the same name.

Jonathan Bailey was born in Oxfordshire in 1988. He started his career with theatre performances and acting in productions such as King John and Beautiful Thing. 

He transitioned his career by dipping his toes in shows like The Golden Hour, Campus, Doctors, and The Bill. 

Over the last couple of years, Bailey has also acted in films like Five Children and It. 

He is best known for his work in the critically acclaimed British detective series Broadchurch.
