Gautam Gambhir Went Out Of The Crease With This Powerful Video In Support Of The Indian Army


Gautam Gambhir has always been quite outspoken on matters related to the nation, especially the army, and it’s no secret that he’s a true patriot at heart.

The batsman has once again called out the whole nation to unite and support the Indian Army. In a powerful video, in association with Fever FM, he requested everyone to end their ‘jhijhak’, or hesitation, and go up to every army personnel they see and thank them.

With a tape on his mouth, he first questions whether people love and respect the soldiers and then further poses a question that why don’t people get up to thank them for their service.

For the innovative campaign called ‘Jhijhak ki Patti’, he posted a video encouraging everyone to share their selfies with army personnel in their uniform with a specific campaign hashtag.

Gautam has proved earlier also that he’s not just all talk but also backs his words with affirmative actions. Recently, he made major headlines for extending help in educating a few unfortunate children who happen to be kids of the 25 CRPF soldiers, that succumbed to their injuries in the Sukma Naxal attack. He even donated his prize money for winning the Man-of-the-Match for one of the IPL matches towards the same cause.
