Valve's Steam Game Festival is all set to kick off tomorrow. During the festival, we'll be able to get access to playable demos of more than 500 upcoming games from indie developers. This is one of the most anticipated festivals and we can't wait to check out all the new games.

In addition to the playable demos, we'll also be able to check out panel discussions and live chats for an interactive experience. The iteration of the Steam Game Festival took place back in December 2019, so it'll be interesting to see how this one unfolds.

Here's a trailer video for the festival -

As you can see, the trailer video from Steam is titled What's Next and it teases a few of the games that look to be available for demo during the festival. It includes Genesis Noir from Feral Cat Den; The Riftbreaker from Exor Studios; Narita Boy from Studio Koba; Almighty: Kill Your Gods from Runwild Entertainment; Fling to the Finish by Splitside Games; Black Book from Morteshka, and many others.

Steam has also set up a microsite to allow interested gamers to set a reminder via email or the mobile app. The site can be accessed via Steam's homepage.

The whole idea behind this festival is to allow gamers to experience these upcoming games and get a feel for them before they officially come out. The devs will also be open to feedback so that the games can be fully ready before they come out. Additionally, this will allow these new devs to be under the spotlight and get some exposure.

Steam has already hosted a bunch of events this year and it's been a blast for gamers this year. This year, Valve has already hosted events in March, then we had a Summer Festival in June and it was followed by the Autumn Edition in October 2020.

Steam has been very rewarding for its users and we're glad to see these events happening throughout the year. 2021 is going to be packed with new games, and we can't wait to see what's in store for us this year.
