Pop icon Rihanna brought global attention to the ongoing farmers’ protest by tweeting about the same. She took to Twitter to question the suspension of internet services that have been imposed on the protest sites around the capital where the protest is taking place.

Soon after Punjabi singer and actor Diljit Dosanjh shared a picture of American singer Rihanna on his Instagram stories along with a song of Rihanna Run This Town. Not only this, but Kangana Ranaut also took to Twitter and reacted to Rihanna’s post to support the farmers’ protest.
She has been supporting the farm laws introduced by the government and called Rihanna a fool for supporting the protests.
She wrote, “No one is talking about it because they are not farmers they are terrorists who are trying to divide India so that China can take over our vulnerable broken nation and make it a Chinese colony much like USA... Sit down you fool, we are not selling our nation like you dummies.”

The farmers have been protesting on different borders around Delhi since November 26 last year against the three farm laws introduced by the government. The farmers want the government to repeal the farm laws and have been protesting for over six weeks now.
