The ongoing protest by the farmers around the Delhi border is only getting stronger with each passing day as more and more people are coming forward in support of the farmers. The farmers have been protesting sitting in the chilling winters of the national capital.

The protest has been receiving support from artists like Diljit Dosanjh and Swara Bhasker amongst others. Now, Naseeruddin Shah has expressed that he is in support of the farmers and will always stand with them.

He tweeted saying, “I am with the farmers and will stand with them forever. Are you with the farmers? Yes?”

The veteran actor asked the people out loud whether or not they are in support of the farmers. Ever since the farmers' protest began many Bollywood celebrities extended their support to the farmers while many celebrities including Kangana Ranaut have been supporting the government.

After Rihanna’s tweet in support of farmers many Bollywood celebrities are supporting the government and took to Twitter to express their opinions about the same.

Akshay Kumar took to Twitter and wrote, “Farmers constitute an extremely important part of our country. And the efforts being undertaken to resolve their issues are evident. Let’s support an amicable resolution, rather than paying attention to anyone creating differences. Folded hands#IndiaTogether #IndiaAgainstPropaganda”

Ajay Devgn also took to Twitter saying, “Don’t fall for any false propaganda against India or Indian policies. Its important to stand united at this hour w/o any infighting Folded hands. #IndiaTogether #IndiaAgainstPropaganda”

Not only this, Bollywood director and producer, Karan Johar also took to Twitter supporting the government and wrote, “We live in turbulent times and the need of the hour is prudence and patience at every turn. Let us together make every effort we can to find solutions that work for everyone—our farmers are the backbone of India. Let us not let anyone divide us. #IndiaTogether”"
