Vicky Kaushal has a very underrated sense of style. Rarely will you see him in an outfit that is outlandish, or over the top. 

As opposed to most of his fellow Bollywood celebrities, Vicky is someone who likes to keep things understated.

That is not to say that he’s not stylish. He just as much about style, as he’s for practical and functional dressing.

Unless he’s at an event or an award ceremony, you’re likely to see Vicky in a simplistic outfit, with some technical element or the other. 

It seems that the actor has taken a liking for technical wear.

Very recently, Vicky was seen at the Mumbai airport in a rather sick-looking outfit. It was understated, but at the same time, it was very hip.

Vicky was seen in a dope-looking outfit, which comprised of a black field jacket, with chunky pockets, a basic looking pair of denim and a pair of rugged boots. 

Adding a cherry on top of this outfit, was the grey beanie that Vicky was wearing.

The field jacket that Vicky is wearing is actually quite interesting. Designed and made by the Dutch luxury streetwear brand, G-Star Raw, the summer jacket is actually called, the Hunting Field Softshell.

The jacket is somewhat sustainably made and constitutes at least 20 per cent of recycled polyester.

At £215, or roughly Rs 22,000, the jacket is not exactly affordable. However, it is actually cheap, considering what we have seen celebs often wear. 

Plus, the technical-looking pockets do add their own charm.

Then, there are the boots that Vicky is seen wearing. He’s seen here, in perhaps one of the toughest and most rugged pairs of boots we have seen. 

These are the Men's Brooklyn Side-Zip Sneaker Boots from Timberland.

The grey suede sneaker boots have premium grade leather uppers. The mesh linings and parts of the sole are made of using recycled plastic bottles. 

These sneakers are legit built like a tank.

Just take a look at the sole or the tread of the boots. When was the last time you saw a pair of shoes with a tread like that? They seriously are chunkier than most tyres on modern cars.

In fact, so tough are these boots, that several search and rescue operators across the world actually issue a variation of these boots as a part of their uniform.

One would assume that the sneaker would be very expensive. Not so, actually. 

At $160 or Rs 11,500, they aren’t exactly cheap, but they are affordable if you’re looking for a really good pair of boots to go trekking in. 

Plus, you can often pick these up for a discount, if you know where to look.

All in all, that’s actually quite the outfit that Vicky’s got there. We love how he went for pieces that have at least tried to go a little sustainable.
