We know that as far as fashion and style are concerned, Emraan is a renegade - someone who doesn’t really care about fashion for the sake of it and leans more towards the functional aspect of clothing.

With that being said, the man has an exquisite and very nuanced taste when you speak of watches.  

For example, the watch that you see Emraan wearing in this photo is a sublime piece that rarely anyone in Bollywood knows about. That’s the IWC Portugieser.

Heck, we’ll go as far as to say, that he is one of the best watch collectors in Bollywood, and perhaps in all of India.  

This is clearly evident from Emraan’s photos, taken during the promotions of Mumbai Saga, his upcoming film.

Recently, he was seen wearing one of the dopest looking watches, along with a very basic, and simple outfit - his signature style move, if you ask us - while out for dinner with his family in Mumbai.

Before we take a look at the watch, let’s have a look at what he was wearing. 

Emraan was wearing a very basic looking T-shirt from Obey, and a pair of khaki coloured chinos. The chinos looked very interesting, given that they were slightly distressed.

We also like the chunky looking adventure sneakers he’s wearing. They are from an older collection from YCNY or Yello Cab Shoe Co. New York.  

Although they are proper sneakers, they have the aesthetic so of a boot, which is what makes them interesting.

Finally, we come to the watch that he’s wearing. It has a very mellow, but gripping appeal. The watch, as exquisite as it is, does not scream for attention.

Emraan is seen here in the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Chronograph in an Ivory Dial. This AP Off Shore stands apart from the rest of the Royal Oak family for a number of reasons.

Firstly, because of the materials. This watch has an ivory-toned dial and white gold hands, which is enclosed by a stainless steel case, and a black ceramic crown and pushbuttons.  

The bracelet, or the strap and the buckle are handmade, with alligator leather, and stainless steel.

Then, there is the design, the aesthetic of the watch itself. It follows Audemar Piguet’s classic aesthetic, all the while giving it a fairly modern appearance.

One would assume that such an exquisite timepiece, with such a high level of craftsmanship, would be expensive.  

They would be right. The watch used to retail for $24,350 or roughly Rs 18 lakhs. Today though, retailers are selling the watch for as high as Rs 25 Lakhs.

All in all, that’s actually quite a dapper-looking watch Emraan’s got there. This makes us wonder, what else should we expect to see from him, and his amazing collection.
