Normally, we won’t see Riteish Deshmukh wearing something jaw-droppingly bizarre or out of this world. He dresses up in a rather simple, but quite stylish manner.

However, that is not to say that the man can’t turn heads.
On the contrary, he is known to push the stylistic envelope beyond boundaries, from time to time.

It may be hard to fathom for some people, but Riteish too is a bonafide sneakerhead and has been seen in some of the most whacked-out and quirky sneakers.
There was this instance, for example, when he was spotted wearing a dope looking pair of 'Emoji' Sneakers.

Well, very recently, he was spotted wearing a pair of slip-on loafers that were as whacky as those Emoji sneakers.

Riteish was seen in a pair of graffiti or doodle sneakers that would make even Banksy, the famous, underground artist, envious of his shoes.

Riteish was seen at Aalim Hakim’s Studio in Mumbai, getting a sweet-looking haircut. He was dressed in a very basic, but dapper-looking printed T-shirt and a pair of denim.

His slip-ons though were on fire.
It looks like whoever made those sneakers, repurposed a sweet looking laptop sleeve.

If you look closely, you’ll see that the motifs used on the bag and loafers are exactly the same. The placement of graphics, the logos, and the captions, all of them, are exactly the same.

The bag that spawned this pair was originally from DSquared2, which retailed for about $345, or roughly Rs 25,000, and it looked quirky AF on its own.

The bag, and therefore the slip-ons that Riteish is wearing have a very zany set of doodles. The digitally-printed doodles seem to be inspired by some of Banksy’s best known graffitis.

If the sleeve has indeed been repurposed and made into a pair of slip-ons, then we have to say that this was a great step towards sustainability.

Given that fashion is one of the most polluting industries in the world, it only makes sense that the celebrities and fashion icons, who inspire our style choices, go for sustainably-made, and environmentally-responsible pieces.

All in all, that’s one dapper looking pair of slip-ons. The fact that it is a sustainable and responsibly-made piece is the cherry on top.
Kudos, Riteish. Well Done.
