Sneakers that have a bit of history attached to it and are steeped in legacy, will always have takers.
Such is the sneaker community and such is the passion of sneakerheads, especially in India, that legacy sneakers have always been put on a pedestal, and for good reason.

Asim was seen in his typical workout outfit.
Asim was seen wearing a set of black skins, upon which he was wearing a rather dapper-looking pair of shorts from Nike Jordan. The oversized T-shirt that he was wearing was also a dapper-looking piece.

For those interested in getting their hands on the T-shirt, they are the Jordan 23 Engineered T-Shirt, which retails for Rs 2,195.
However, if you know where to look, you can pick these up for as low as Rs 1,200.

Coming to the sneakers that Asim is seen here wearing, they are every basketball fan’s dream pair of sneakers, because of its history with the GOAT, Michael Jordan.

These sneakers are the 25th Anniversary edition of the classic Air Jordan 11, that were designed for Michael Jordan’s first game after he came back from his retirement.
Apart from a few technical aspects, such as the material used inside the foam, not a lot has changed.

The sneakers were originally designed by Tinker Hatfield, a legend among sneakerheads, who has designed a number of sneakers for Nike.
The sole has a carbon-fibre plate for a boosted performance while having an upper that is made of patent leather, for an added touch of luxury.

25 years ago, when these sneakers launched initially, they truly were the most sophisticated and luxurious sneakers that money could buy.
The latest iteration, called the Air Jordan 11 Jubilee has a retail price of Rs 18, 695 in India.

However, good luck getting your hands on one of these at that price. Almost all retail stores have run out of these pair.

All in all, that’s a really dope pair of sneakers that Asim’s got there. Seriously, hats off man.
