Apple has now confirmed its first big Event for 2021 and it will be held on April 20th where the company is expected to announce a host of new products. There have been plenty of rumours that Apple might be announcing a new iPad Pro, tracking devices and other products at the event. Apple’s spring event sure sounds interesting and here’s everything we can expect to launch next week:

AirTags have been rumoured to launch for years and there’s a very good chance Apple will introduce its tracking devices at the event next week. The company has already opened up its “Find My” app to third-party companies where users can track items. Apple’s own AirTags will reportedly feature ultra-wideband radio technology for more accurate location tracking. According to leaks, Apple’s AirTags are said to be slightly larger than a bottle cap and can be attached to items that a user might want to track.

Apple is expected to announce new iPad models where the company is said to use a mini-LED display. A 12.9-inch model is said to be in the works and thanks to the new display technology, it might be thinner and lighter than previous models. The new iPad models are also said to be powered by Apple’s latest chipset and have support for 5G connectivity. Apple is also expected to announce a new iPad mini that will borrow design cues from the iPad Pro with thinner bezels and support for the Apple Pencil.

Apple is expected to announce a successor to the AirPods Pro that will come with a compact design and a shorter stem. There have been rumours that the new AirPods Pro model may not even have a stem and will be similar to the Galaxy Buds. Apple is also expected to announce a new version of its entry-level AirPods that will take design cues from the current AirPods Pro model.

Apple has been long rumoured to be working on a newer model of the Apple TV that will be powered by its latest chipset for better gaming performance. Apple is looking to also upgrade onboard storage to store more movies, TV shows and games on the device and have support for third-party gaming controllers. There are also rumours that Apple will replace the remote with a new design that will be more intuitive to use.
