COVID 19 sees no privileges that one might have and the whole world has been trying to fight the pandemic. He has requested everybody who came in contact with him to follow all safety protocols.
In a tweet, Rahul Gandhi said, "After experiencing mild symptoms, I’ve just tested positive for COVID. All those who’ve been in contact with me recently, please follow all safety protocols and stay safe."

Rahul Gandhi had held an election rally on April 14 in West Bengal's Uttar Dinajpur. He later announced the cancellation of all his rallies in West Bengal over a frightening surge in Covid-19 cases across the country.
“In view of the Covid situation, I am suspending all my public rallies in West Bengal. I would advise all political leaders to think deeply about the consequences of holding large public rallies under the current circumstances,” he had tweeted.
Earlier today, he had also criticized the government over its COVID-19 vaccine policy, calling it discriminatory. "No free vaccines for 18-45 yr olds. Middlemen brought in without price controls. No vaccine guarantee for weaker sections. GOI's Vaccine Discrimination- Not Distribution- Strategy," he wrote in a tweet.
India is one of the worst-hit countries now and we wonder when will we get back to being normal as we were.
