Days after Mumbai Police decided to use colour-coded stickers for essential vehicles to control traffic amid the COVID-19 curfew the Twitter handle of the Mumbai police department has been flooded with messages asking for clarifications. At present, section 144 of the CrPC has been imposed that prohibits assembly of five or more people at one place is in force in Mumbai and other parts of the state to bring down the COVID-19 cases.
In all those messages and tweets, one Twitter user and a Mumbai resident asked the police which colour of the sticker to use for taking his vehicle out to meet his girlfriend. He wrote, “What sticker should I use in order to go out and meet my girlfriend? I miss her.”
Mumbai Police has the perfect answer to it and they chose words very responsible. The tweet handle said, “We understand it’s essential for you sir but unfortunately it doesn’t fall under our essentials or emergency categories! Distance makes the heart grow fonder & currently, you healthier. We wish you a lifetime together. This is just a phase.”

P.S. We wish you lifetime together. This is just a phase. #StayHomeStaySafe https://t.co/5221kRAmHp
People appreciated Mumbai Police for the prompt reply but also made fun of the guy who asked it.
