The New Spider-Man Game Looks Straight Out Of A Movie And We Cant Get Enough Of The Graphics

Last year when Sony revealed a new 'Spider-Man' game, we all lost our shit and it was no different this year. At E3, Sony revealed the first gameplay trailer and we cannot get enough of how it looks more like a cinematic movie than a video game. Even some of our readers had the same idea:

E3 2017: Spider-Game Looks Like A Movie

The trailer shows Spidey fighting with a few enemies at a construction site and how he jumps around the building in a very stealthy manner to take out enemies. He uses his webs effectively which got us jumping out of our seats. Combined with acrobatic moves and that addictive combat system, we can confidently say that Spider-Man is finally represented well in video game form when compared to the comic book counterpart.

The entire sequence had many cinematic moments which left us in a state of awe and of course, these cinematic sequences were also interactive thanks to a quick-time event. Having said that, the highlight of the trailer was seeing Spider-Man chase a helicopter across the city of New York as he avoided buildings and obstacles on his way.

The trailer ended with onlookers taking pictures of Spider-Man after he got done doing his business. We also got to know that Miles Morales, a young African American boy will be the new Spider-Man which is the case in an alternate universe of Marvel’s Ultimate Universe.

Spider-Man will be the latest iteration in video game form and Insomniac has done a wonderful job of keeping the details true to the character and made a very comprehensive open-world version of New York City. The game is expected to release sometime in 2018 as no concrete date has been announced yet. You can watch the full trailer below and share your views with us about the upcoming game.Β
