Android 12 Beta Is Now Available To Test On These Smartphone Models And Here’s The Entire List

Android 12 beta is now available to test on a number of smartphones so that you can check out the changes for yourself. While the public release of Android 12 isn’t slated to happen before September this year, Google is giving advanced users and enthusiasts a chance to try out the latest version for themselves.

The beta build of Android 12 is slightly more stable than the developer preview and has more features to check out that were announced last night. If you want to know which features we recommend checking out, here’s a list of the most important changes.

Android 12 introduces many facelifts to the overall design of the Android OS, however it also focuses on customisation, privacy and security. Google calls it the new ‘Material You’ design language and there are quite a few changes Google is planning for Android devices. We will start seeing new Android changes from September onwards, including a redesigned notification shade, customisable quick settings and a privacy dashboard as well. Other optimisations include under-the-hood improvements that will result in better battery life, smoother animations and faster performance.

Android 12 is expected to release for Pixel devices later this year and other OEM models soon after.
