In another bizarre episode of ‘this happens only in India’, a government official from Gujarat has claimed that he is Kalki, the tenth incarnation of Lord Vishnu, and won’t be able to come to office as he is conducting a ‘penance’ to ‘change the global conscience’.
He also said that due to his penance, the country is getting good rains. Rameshchandra Fefar is a superintendent engineer with the Sardar Sarovar Punarvasvat Agency (SSPA), and was recently served with a show-cause notice.

As per the notice, Fefar only attended his Vadodara office for 16 days during the last eight months.
The notice read as, “Such unauthorized absence does not suit a gazetted officer. Work of the agency is getting hampered because of your absence.”
However, we all know what Fefar replied after the notice came.
