Sana Khan Gives Befitting Reply To Instagram User Who Mocked Her For Wearing ‘Hijab’

Former Bigg Boss contestant Sana Khan shut down a troll who mocked her for wearing ‘Hijab’ in her recent post on Instagram. On Wednesday, Sana had posted a photo of herself wearing a 'hijab'. A user commented on the post, saying, "Itna padai likhai kast karke kiya faida wohi toh sabke jaisa pardeke andar rahena (What's the point of your education if you're going to hide behind a hijab)".

Sana replied to the comment and said, "Mere bhai, jab parde mai rahke (If despite wearing a veil) I can do my business, have amazing in-laws and husband what more. I want. Most imp Allah is protecting me in every way. Alhamdulillah. And have completed my education too. So isn’t it a win-win situation?”

While it's needless to say that it's absolutely wrong to mock anyone for their choices, we also feel that it's a befitting response to such trolls.

Last year, Sana Khan surprised her fans as she married Surat-based businessman Maulana Anas Saiyad on November 20 in an intimate ceremony and also announced her retirement from the entertainment industry before walking down the aisle.

People trolled her for marrying him and calling it a ‘rushed’ decision. Talking to Times of India, Sana Khan said that it was not an overnight decision to marry Mufti Anas. She said, “I have prayed for years for a man like him in my life. What I liked best about him is that he is shareef and unn mein haya hai. He is not judgmental. He had said this to me, ‘Agar koi achhi cheez gutter mein gir gayi hai toh uske upar aap 10 baalti bhi paani daal do, woh saaf nahi hoti hai. Par aap usko gutter se baahar nikaal kar ek glass paani daal do, woh saaf ho jaati hai’ (If something falls in the gutter, you cannot clean it even with 10 buckets of water.. But when you take it out, it can be cleaned with one glass of water). That had a lasting impact on me.”

Mufti Anas also told TOI that he never forced Sana to quit showbiz. He said, “She announced on Instagram around six months ago that she has taken hijab. People thought that it’s because of the pandemic and no work, but she always wanted to detach herself from what she was doing. I wanted her to give it some time, but she was certain. In fact, I was shocked, too, when she announced that she was quitting the industry.”

He added, “I prayed to God that I want to marry Sana and he heard my prayers. I feel that I wouldn’t have been this happy if I had married anybody else. Sana is not full of herself. She is affable, forgiving, and has a clean heart. I always wanted a girl who complimented and completed me. People still ask me how I got married to an actress, but yeh chhoti soch ke log hain (they are narrow-minded people). It’s my life and no one should comment on it. People are free to think that we are a mismatched couple, but only we know how compatible we are.”
