If you grew up in the 90s, we bet you distinctly remember the face-off between Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar and wrestler The Undertaker in the 1996 movie ‘Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi’.

We, as kids, were made to believe that the wrestler Akshay fought was indeed the real WWE superstar and we all wondered how powerful one would have to be to beat someone like the Undertaker.

Watching Akshay get the better of the Undertaker in the movie made many of us his big-time fans, which continues to date, despite knowing the fact that the man he fought was not the real Undertaker.

As the movie completed its 25 years, Akshay thought of having fun and shared a collage of people who had beaten the Undertaker. 

The collage contained pictures of three of the biggest WWE superstars, Brock Lesnar, Triple H and Roman Reigns, while the fourth slot was occupied by the Rowdy Rathore actor himself.

Before people could start jumping the ship, Akshay mentioned in the caption that the wrestler he fought was a body-double Brian Lee, who played the Undertaker in the movie.

“A hilarious note to mark 25 years to the release of #KhiladiyonKaKhiladi tomorrow! A fun fact though: it was wrestler Brian Lee who played The Undertaker in the film,” Akshay wrote on Instagram.

While sharing the collage, Akshay clearly misinterpreted the power of social media, as he, even in his wildest of dreams, wouldn’t have thought that his post would create so much buzz on social media. 

The post indeed became viral and caught the attention of the man himself -- The Undertaker, who challenged the Bollywood actor for a real fight.

“Ha! Tell me when you are ready for a REAL rematch!” the Undertaker commented.  

Only a fool would accept the one-on-one challenge thrown by the ‘Dead Man’ and Akshay was in no mood to take the bait and like any sane man should do, he dodged the bullet with a hilarious reply. 

“Let me check my insurance and get back, bro!” was his reply.

Watching the hilarious conversation unfold between two of their favourite celebrities, fans wondered if this was the moment they would get to realise their childhood dream of the face-off between Akshay Kumar and the Undertaker. 

If anything, Akshay’s reply to the Undertaker taught us the all-important life lesson that sometimes, being a coward is not a bad thing, especially, when your life is at stake!
