We know that a lot of our film stars and cricketers love their timepieces, and for good reason. A well-made watch is a bliss to hold and behold. However, we can bet some serious money when we say that only a few select people actually care for and appreciate watches as much as Saif Ali Khan does.

The man has often been spotted wearing some of the most exquisite watches known to mankind. It wouldn’t be a stretch to say that he has one of the best collection of watches in India, that would make any horologist or collector green in the gills with envy.

Recently, he was spotted in Mumbai, wearing a very basic outfit that consisted of a black coloured printed T-shirt. However, it was his watch that stole the show.

Saif Ali Khan was spotted wearing the Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Grande Taille one of the finest pieces of watches that money can buy. It is from the family of Jaeger-Lecoultre’s Reverso, which is a series of watches that have two faces and can be reversed.

The Grande Taille, though, has a blank silver plate. Upon reversing the face in the Taille, the watch becomes a stylish wristband.

Saif has a had long relationship with Jaeger-LeCoultre and can often be seen wearing their pieces. This one though is a bit special. In fact, the watch we see here is one of a kind.

Jaeger-LeCoultre actually customised one of their watches and gifted Saif this piece back in 2011. The backplate, which is normally empty, carries the Pataudi family crest. This was a period of time when Saif was fighting tooth and nail to get back the Pataudi Palace.

Normally, this particular Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso can be picked up for $ 8,500 or roughly Rs 7.05 Lakhs. Considering that Saif has been seen wearing pieces that cost much, much more than that, the Reverso seems to be rather cheap.

However, given the provenance of this piece, and that it is one of a kind that was gifted to royalty, it is worth a lot more today.

All in all, that’s one elegant looking watch that Saif’s got on. And to think of it, Saif’s wearing it with a basic T-shirt and some clear acetate glasses. Only he can think of pairing something like that, with such an elegant watch, in such a dope manner. Seriously, man, take a bow.
