With the pandemic disrupting our lives, we have been forced to stay home and let monotony take over our normal lives. 

But finally, as the number of COVID cases have started to deteriorate, people have begun setting their foot out once again to breathe the fresh air and get away from their homes for a bit.

Former Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni also has stepped out of his home and has been enjoying the weather and scenic beauty of Himachal, as he along with his wife Sakshi and daughter Ziva, recently travelled to Shimla and have been sharing pictures from their vacation home.

The cottage that Dhoni has been staying in with his family has grabbed the attention of many people who have been looking to take a break in the peaceful laps of nature. 

This is a significant factor that you can just recognize a cottage house by the roof style. 

They have thatched roofs, which certainly add a rustic charm to the house. This too has that old 'English Cottage' vibe. The colour scheme is vibrant and a lot of woodwork has been used to give it the authentic hills vibe. 

The interiors are breathtakingly beautiful and the countryside setting is perfect for a weekend break. As it’s surrounded with mountains and greenery, it’s a treat to the eyes and mind. 

The cottage has lattice-style Sash windows and you can see Ziva enjoying the scenic view from the windows. It’s surely aesthetically pleasing. 

Not just the flora, Dhoni’s daughter Ziva is interacting with the fauna as well and you can see her spending quality time with the animals. 

The property is just perfect for a hill station outing.

Not just the vibrant indoor but the comfortable and ample space outside the cottage makes this vacation home an extraordinary one.
