On Monday evening, Bollywood star Shilpa Shetty’s husband and businessman Raj Kundra was accused of producing pornographic films and distributing it on the internet through a mobile application. As a result, Kundra was arrested and remains in police custody until July 23, 2021.

When such a big celebrity gets involved in such a controversial matter, a run-down their old social media posts is one of the most basic and common things to expect and in Kundra’s case, his online history was full of talking points, especially while interacting with other big names of the sports and entertainment industries of India.

One such interaction took place between Kundra and the current vice captain of the Indian Test cricket team, Ajinkya Rahane.

Back in 2012, Rahane showed his appreciation for Kundra’s “work” and said that he was doing a “great job”. Obviously, the message wasn’t about making porn but about one of the other shows that the businessman was involved with at the time.

Kundra responded to Rahane’s comments happily and in fact invited him to watch the show live, which obviously given the current scenario, has to be the worst probable response the accused could ever have thought of.

In the old Twitter thread, Rahane was finally seen accepting Kundra’s offer and is been trolled by the Indian people almost a decade since that conversation took place:

Ever since Kundra’s name has come to the forefront of pornographic video scandal, a lot of his older tweets on the matter have also gone viral.

“We are releasing only one movie a week so yes, the sales pick up…” reads one of the messages from Kundra’s discovered WhatsApp chat with his alleged partner in crime in which the two were discussing the revenue generated from producing these films.
